Well 2012, I challenge you. I've got a great job, a great apartment...time to have a great body so I can go out that and get a great man! I have been sucked into yet ANOTHER FAD.....INSANITY! On facebook yesterday, I posted to my friends "P90x...or insanity". I have seen amazing results on my friends from both...but insanity was the clear winner, so that second, I purchased the discs. Today was my final day of fatassness. I did not go to the gym. I did not care what I ate. I sat....on my fat ass....and didn't do too much. So, January 1st! Screw you! I saw....give yourself a 2 day buffer. Tomorrow I begin my journey into insanity. I have a week until it arrives and to whip my endurance-less whimpy ass into survival mode...because I've heard there ain't no babying in this program. I hope to use this blog to help others who struggle the way I have been struggling! And hopefully as motivation to myself...because everyday I will post my failures...and my triumphs!! Hope to inspire MYSELF and others!!

Here's to no more "lose weight" resolutions.
Every new year comes and goes. Every new year since puberty, I feel I have had the same resolution 75% of the female population in America. Lose Weight. (Find a man has been a reoccurring second.) I'm tired of these skinny bitches populating my life!! It's time to join the ranks!! I want to be a skinny bitch!! I can be easily persuaded into gimmicks and fads.....the pilates fad....the jazzercise fad....the ZUMBA fad...so much that I became an instructor......the rowing fad...the weight watchers fad.....(although I do believe this to be a goodie)...I have counted calories, I have cut carbs, I have cut out sugar....Nothing has stuck! I can't seem to find a lifestyle that I have been able to stick to!

I did P90X in the spring, I wouldn't say it's a fad! My only advice... keep pressing play! I'd also direct you to http://www.reddit.com/r/fitness and /r/loseit. Good luck Jenna
ReplyDeleteHey girlie! I'm so glad you're doing this! I'm excited for you! We're peas in a pod babe with dieting, believe me!
ReplyDeleteI think you need a new profile picture. You look too beautiful and thin in the current one : ) do you ever go on pinterest? Lots of great motivation there too. I went vegan a couple years ago and lost some weight. Been slacking a lot lately on it - especially in the cheese department. So my resolution is to get back on that. Good luck with insanity. I have heard a lot of good things about it. I am going to start with doing some jumping jacks and squats each day and maybe by the time you are done insanity you will have motivated me enough to get over my fear of trying it.

It all begins within! Nothing comes easy..cause if it did, we wouldn't honor it! And "fads" are just that, they fade in time! However, a lifestyle which incorporates a "tool" .. Like insanity..that rocks! So..let it begin..e good days..the maybe bad days..doesn't matter, cause you have unleashed an empowerment From DEEP inside, that has put you in control of your body! Commander in chief!! Happy beginnings...! Have fun..fitness ROCKS -- insanity is an awesome tool...love it, and your next tool should be a cardio watch..so you can watch how long it takes to burn calories, and keep track of those expelled!! A big fan of yours will be cheering you on!!
ReplyDeleteI love that you have some goals set up for yourself!! I did insanity and I loved it for the first month, lol :) I hope it works for you!! The main guy that does it is super supportive! I'm excited that I found your blog and I'm looking forward to following you along your journey. Stop by sometime! I'm a new follower of yours!!
ReplyDeleteLol, you go girl! I'll be sure to cheer you on from the library :-/ Maybe I'll join you in 2013 ...?
ReplyDeleteThanks Mandy@OrangeAutumn!!! Hopefully I'll keep it entertaining here!
ReplyDeleteI have just started Zumba. I feel a bit dumb shaking all around, but I'm still trying lol! I have friends who are doing Insanity, and love it. This year was weird because Jan 1st was actually the holiday from work, so screw Jan 1st. Yay goals. :-)
